This screenprint was developed by translating a painted design into a printed outcome. By combining painting with printmaking, the work retains painterly marks and subtle textural variation within areas of flat colour. I experimented with multiple colourways, producing three variations of each edition, to explore how different colour combinations alter the energy of the design. The works highlight how colour alone can transform the viewer’s experience of the same image.
